Camden Council is introducing new devolutionary measures to empower local communities.

This autumn, most Camden wards are holding their inaugural Neighbourhood Forum meetings.

In this ward, which is Cantelowes, it will be on the night of Thursday 22nd November at the Irish Centre in Camden Square.

All three of us ward Councillors, plus Camden officers and the local police will be there.

Your chance to influence the future shape of Kentish Town. Please do try to come along.

Also note that the next BARA meeting is at James Wigg on the night of Tuesday 27th November.

And if you have any issues that you'd like to raise about the Health Centre's construction site, please contact me before the next monthly meeting - which is on the morning of Tuesday 30th October, by sending me an email to "paulbraithwaite@mac.com" or post HERE!

These sound positive, so what will they be?
What time is the Neighborhood Forum on Nov 22?

It might be worth putting this info in the "events" section too.

It will be 7.00pm at the Irish Centre, Camden Sq for a couple of hours.

We're reckoning to suggest half a dozen topics from which attendees can choose to discuss three or four. It's NOT a political rally, it's consultation on what we RESIDENTS want to see happen.

For example: What kind of recycling do we want, the pros and cons of CCTV, ways to further enhance transpprt through more bus routes/making Brecknock Road two way, more cycle routes), the future for Camden's street trees. Current provision for young people.

You tell me!
